SEAHAM HARBOUR BOAT CLUB.

Welcome to the web site of Seaham Harbour Boat Club. 2009 is the fifth full season of activities for our Club. Officially formed as the Seaham Harbour Small Boat Club, we cater exclusively for the trailer boat owner who owns and trails a boat of up to twenty feet overall length or a total maximum weight of one and a half tons. As of January 2009, we have 44 trailer boat owning members and 33 ordinary members.

Navigating round our web site is easy. There are SIX main sections:

ABOUT US

This section tells you who we are, where we are, and how we started off. The sub pages cover a selection of  archive material, including photographs, from our first outing in 2004, up to the present time. This is the largest section on the web site.

SAFETY

The safety section covers the safety philosophy of our club and our requirement that boat owning members meet the requirements of the RNLI SEACHECK system. There are checklists for safety equipment and photographs of Club boat sea checks in this section.

FAQ

The Frequently Asked Questions section covers the common subjects such as:- joining our Club; fishing areas; species; tides; and more.

NEWS

This page is updated with the latest news and reports from our members, plus any items of local and national news regarding fishing.

NOTICE BOARD

This page is a quick reference to what is going on in the weeks ahead, club meetings, competitions etc. An additional page added to this section is a weather page with links to various weather sites.

COMPETITIONS

This section is the second largest on the web site. It gives you all the competition dates, rules, results for the Club Competitions, plus the Club record list and photographs of Members boats.

You can start in any of the SIX main sections shown in capital letters. Look at all the information in that section by clicking on the left hand side buttons that list the main sections with the sub pages of that section listed below it. A highlighted button shows the viewed page you are on. You can choose another main section either from the top, bottom or side of any page. Each separate main section has all the sub pages of that section listed on the left hand side of the page. The left side buttons, on this page only, cover all the pages of the Web site.

Section pages are labelled with the main section you are in then the sub pages in that section listed below it. The other  main sections of the web site are shown in capitals.
